Financial Beginnings is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides accessible and unbiased financial education to youth and adults. The generosity of community members, volunteers, businesses, and foundations enable Financial Beginnings to provide these programs at no cost to participants. Financial Beginnings educates over 40,000 individuals annually.
CalCPA Institute
CalCPA Institute is the 501(c)3 division of the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA). The Institute’s mission includes empowering all Californians through financial literacy, promoting the CPA profession among high school and college students, and career outreach to underrepresented minority populations.

FiAT's curriculum was initially developed using Junior Achievement materials as the foundation of the program in collaboration with Junior Achievement. FiAT finds that Junior Achievement's objective and curriculum are in alignment with their own--to provide a platform to educate our youth on fiscal responsibility, preparing them to succeed in our ever-evolving global economy.
National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE)
National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE): The National Endowment for Financial Education champions effective financial education. They are the independent, centralizing voice providing leadership, research, and collaboration to advance financial well-being. NEFE focuses on high-quality financial education through research, decision-making tools, and reliable interventions. They are committed to leading and encouraging collective impact to improve financial capability.
San Mateo County Libraries
FiAT has worked closely with San Mateo Public Library as well as Foster City Library to provide our financial literacy programs to youth and adults in the San Francisco Bay Area. San Mateo County Libraries has assisted in providing a location for FiAT sessions as well as sharing resources with FiAT.
